Let me cleaner you and make you smart. Don’t wast your money on maintenance. It cost you a lot of expensive.. if you have this code spn 4364 fmi 18. Just just keep your nox outlet sensor out. You have check ligh on. But it’s work great. If that doesn’t work. Just go buy one box new not ramanufacture. It’s cheap only $6500 all sensor. $1500. Check my video I I hack my system 😂. It’s better then spend every day money. You will be good until 400000 miles

I’m leaking from the clamp closer to the turbo (2019 Cascadia) replaced seal and clamp 3 times and it still leaked causing smoke when burning off. This time I put new exhaust pipe, new exhaust manifold piece that 7th injector is bolted to , new 7th injector (injector housing, injector and seal) and new clamp and seal AGAIN! after all that it STILL LEAKED!!

Dealing with a similar issue on a Mercedes 906la motor but the pump and metering valve switching valve are exactly the same. Spn 4334-18 Replace pump and metering valve and flushed lines still no luck going to check voltage at pump I know I have 24v there on 1 pin need to check the other. Also I did have oil in air line so going to check that line.

I install a large tiewrap loosely around the dpf to use as a handle along with a pry bar to support the dpd when manuvering the dpf into place.

Honestly God bless you sir. Thank you for the great explanation and actually understanding that not everything needs to be replaced to find the problem. Every shop I went to want to make me change everything that’s connected to the problem and most of the time it doesn’t even fix the problem and it was something as simple as a wire that was corroded.

When replacing I think you're supposed to pressurize the def inlet to inflate the bladder before attaching the line. 90 psi for 3 seconds is what I've seen....

I cleaned mine with a air hammer and rubber mallet a few days ago. Now it’s so clean you can see right through it. Amazing.

Will this work with the SCR filter?

While driving, I would hear a relay click and all switches ( mirror heater, utility lamp,rest in that row), including hvac, are dead. Later on, relay clicks again, and power is back on.

The pump freezes because people overfill their DEF tanks. When the truck is shut off the DEF pump runs in reverse to push any DEF in the pump and lines back into the tank. If the tank is overfilled the return line will freeze and the DEF is not able to be pushed out of the lines and pump. Shut the truck off with DEF still in the pump and lines and it will freeze and expand, splitting the pump and lines. Fill to the bottom of the filler neck and stop. When filled to the bottom of the filler neck it will indicate as "full" on the dash. Don't keep topping it off over and over because anything above the bottom of the filler neck likely will not melt with the heating circuit in extreme cold. I've done thousands of DEF pump and level sensor warranty claims, many of which Volvo could have denied as owner error for filling the tank past "full." Yes, it's a flawed design with the heating loop not melting the top few inches of the tank, but it's the reality for Volvo owners.

Exactly what the problem was. One port flowing freely, the other completely blocked . Removed the plug , cleaned the port . Now flowing properly and performing correctly. Thanks for the tech advice. 👍
